Lucky Vasilakis came to the United States from Greece in 1967. He opened his first restaurant, Seros, in 1976, when he was just 22 years old. After the success of his Seros family restaurants, Vasilakis decided to try something new.
He opened his first steakhouse in 1998, Lucky’s Steakhouse of Davison. In addition to award winning steaks, the menu boasted a wide variety of seafood options, chicken, and pasta. The steakhouse became wildly popular, and Vasilakis expanded across Mid-Michigan, opening locations in Fenton, Imlay City, Clio, Bay City, Midland, Okemos and Gaylord.

He also opened a restaurant in Rochester, Lucky’s Prime Time, a seafood restaurant in Lapeer, Lucky’s Blindfish & Grill, and a Mexican restaurant in Davison, Señor Lucky’s Catina. Lucky’s restaurants offer a casual, welcoming atmosphere for guests to enjoy amazing food and drinks.
Lucky’s is known for big portions and affordable prices, making it a favorite destination for both newcomers as well as their beloved regular clientele. Vasilakis shows that same heartfelt hospitality to his staff, many who have been with him for dozens of years. Lucky’s family of employees really cares about the restaurant, and one another.
